The Chiyoda Group offers internships for university undergraduate and graduate students. 78 students participated in the internships in the fiscal year ended March 2016 at Chiyoda.

The Chiyoda Group dispatches 18 sophisticated members to the universities to give lectures in the fiscal year ended March 2016.
Visiting Seminars and Career Education Supports for Junior & Senior High Schools
The Group builds plants around the world that handle energy resources, water and air, and we utilize such experience to educate the next generation. The classes emphasize the importance of energy resources along with environmental conservation such as water and air bases on our Group Corporate Philosophy “Energy and Environment in Harmony.”
In the fiscal year ended March 2015, the Group held the visiting seminars seven (7) times.
One of such seminars was held for the second-year students at Koyodai Junior High School in Sendai, Miyagi Pref. This seminar has been conducted for the second-year students and their parents since the year 2012, where we give a lecture on our global business activities as an engineering company. This seminar is to be followed up by our hosting some of the students’ visit to Chiyoda Global Headquarters in Yokohama as part of the school excursion in May the following year when they become third-year students.
The Nagoya City Science Museum sponsors a three-year program under the name of ” Research on Fuel Cell Car by Senior High School Students”, where the students in the prestigious high schools in Nagoya City have been undertaking the manufacturing of a fuel cell cart and the researching of constructing a hydrogen-based society infrastructure. In the 2015 and 2016 respectively, Chiyoda received eight(8) first and second year students at its Koyasu Office & Research Park and lectured them on the technology of the SPERA Hydrogen and the relevant hydrogen supply chain. Chiyoda staff were much impressed with a lot of earnest questions from them.

Workplace Hands-on Training
The Group has been collaborating since 2014 with a NPO “JUKE” in providing high school students in Kanagawa Prefecture with one day program of a workplace hands-on experience at its Global Headquarters in Yokohama as part of the study to build their career path. This program aims for them to understand “what and how is it for them to work as employees” through the one day hands-on experiences together with its employees. In 2015, Chiyoda received six (6) high school students (3 each from Seiko Gakuin and Senzoku Gakuen High Schools) at its workplace and have them learn what and how global activities are.

Chiyoda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.(CMSB)
Internship Training to 8 students from Osaka University and University Malaya :
On 18th to 26th February 2016, Chiyoda Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CMSB) play host to 8 students from Osaka University and University of Malaya, together with 3 visiting professor from their universities, to an internship program called the Coupling Internship (CIS) Program. This program was formulated to create communication skills and first hand technical knowledge, fostering professionals capable of true leadership on a world stage. CMSB provided talks on various practical aspects of an Engineering and Construction Company specializing in the Oil and Gas Industry and also provide the student some hands on challenges of a practical live situation. Feedback from the students was very encouraging especially the aspect of combining their theory to the practical real live situation provided by the training team. CMSB was proud to play host to these students and hope that their experience in this training will prove invaluable in their future career.
Chiyoda Philippines Corporation(CPh)
CPh once again made a remarkable event last June 17, 2015, in our School Drive Campaign with its theme “Care and Provide for the Hope of the future”. CPh Representatives headed by our President and CEO Mr. Fumiaki Tanaka arrived mid-morning with a van full of school supplies good for three hundred sixty nine (369) pupils of Renato R Lopez Elementary School who greeted us with a smile.The success of “Care and Provide for the Hope of the future” is a reflection of the ever increasing dedication and enthusiasm from all of us. CPh employees joint efforts and contributions as well as generosity inspired and gave hope to 369 pupils.
PT. Suluh Ardhi Engineering(SAE)
Adzkia Islamic School (Adzkia) was established by Daarut Tauhiid Foundation on 23 February 2007 as one of Islamic School in Indonesia applying both modern and religious education curriculum. Since 2008, SAE Employees have been involving in Adzkia by contributing scholarship to their students.
During the courtesy visit to their school held in Ciputat, Jakarta on 28 March 2016, SAE took part in the effort of improvement of educational facilities in Adzkia. SAE donated two units of Infocus Projectors and Projector Screens that have not been existed yet in that school.
The response from the school representatives has also been overwhelming since they are getting expanded and gaining more students each year which consequently require better facilities to accommodate the student needs. They believe this donation will escalate their education facilities quality. The donation was handed over by Mr. Kazuhiro Hanyu (SAE Operation Director) and also attended by Mr. Sutono Widarta (SAE President Director) as well as SAE Management. SAE expects to contribute more in the future Adzkia CSR program.
Chiyoda Almana Engineering LLC(Chiyoda Almana)
Tie‐ups and cooperation with educational institutions to support the development of young talents:
Chiyoda Almana has established comprehensive partnership with academic
institutions such as universities in both Qatar and Japan to apply diversification
towards humanitarian fields including people to people exchange, culture,
education, health, science and technology. In this regard, we have signed an
agreement with Qatar University, Osaka University and one of the Japanese
centers for research and education, for students exchange from both countries
under Chiyoda Almana umbrella. During the period 21 Aug. to 04 Sep. 2015, 8
students (4 Qatari + 4 Japanese) have joined the Coupling Internship Program at
Chiyoda Almana under the theme of “Practical Global Talent Development
