Photovoltaic Power Plant (also just called "Solar Power Plant") produces electricity directly from sunlights.
Photovoltaic power plants contribute to peak shaving of electricity during the daytime, reduce CO₂ emissions, eliminate the need for maintenance, and have many other advantages including their lower running costs.

Power generation efficiency of photovoltaic cell is improving and investment cost is decreasing due to current development race. In recent boom of prevention of global warming and environmental concern, photovoltaic cell business is recognized high potential as growing industry and market demand has been expanded.

Photovoltaic power generation produces electricity on daytime only, whereas conventional power plant produce full-time. However there are merits of environmental aspect like CO₂ reduction and economical aspects like bounty system.

1.Environment-Friendly Energy

1. Fossil Fuel Reduction:47(kl/year) Conversion Factor 0.254(ℓlkWh), Crude Oil Conversion Factor of Commercial Power Supply
2. CO₂ Reduction: 78(ton/year) Conversion Factor 0.425(kg-CO₂/kWh), CO₂ Emission Factor 2008 (TEPCO)

2. Clean Energy Creation Effect

1. Inverter Type Light (Hf32W×2) : equivalent to 1,072units
   (200day/annual, 12hours/day, 72W)
2. Power Generation Capacity : equivalent to 41households
   (Consumed Power per annual for one household(4person) is about 4,500kWh)

3. Visible Environmental Friendliness

Photovoltaic power plants allow the customer to gain publicity for its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) efforts. Plant operation can be easily understood by using display monitors, contributing to environmental education for local residents and employees. Such activities contribute to enhancing the corporate image.
