This EOL (End of Line) factory is designed to integrate all the services for vehicle maintenance, completion inspections, anti-corrosion chassis coating and other related operations into one complex. In the former factory, inspections and maintenance were undertaken in the separate buildings but the new factory creates an environment where all related operations are performed under the same roof, thereby improving efficiency and shortening delivery times.

We not only completed construction and handed over the factory to our customer within a very tight schedule, but also built a facility that is friendly to the local environment in accordance with environmental assessments. In addition to a conventional air-conditioning system for this factory, it is the first time that Chiyoda has adopted a geothermal air-conditioning system. This system is environmentally friendly and provides energy with high thermal efficiency . By utilizing thermal energy from the ground, where there is little change in temperature throughout the year, the geothermal system exchanges heat without emitting to the atmosphere, which leads to a reduction of the heat island phenomenon.
